The Brink of Justice

Oh God, our help in ages past

Our hope for years to come

Our shelter from the stormy blast

And our eternal home

There have been so many words on this

There's little else to say

Injustice once again reared it's head,

And tried to have it's day

But the world isn't just watching this time

They're all joining in

The chorus cries are louder now

Than they've ever been

We must seize this moment

Embracing resources near and far

To change this world in lasting ways

To close this path so future days

Will not tread this way again.

But we can't stop with our own needs

while others throughout the world

Live in poverty, dis-ease, and injustice of their own.

While nations stand and kneel with us,

We must also fight for them.

A one-sided peace is no peace at all

We know this all too well

Oh God, our help in ages past

Our hope for years to come

Be thou' our guide while troubles last

And our eternal home
